Datadog


This document shows you how you can integrate Callgoose SQIBS with Datadog.

Incidents will be creating in Callgoose SQIBS when there is a incident created in Datadog as per the Notification rule configured by you in the Datadog


In Callgoose SQIBS

 Create filter  as per the Datadog workflows.

  • For test purpose, create an API filter like this

Note:After test, create suitable API filter values depending on the payload sent by Datadog to create a meaningful incident.


In Datadog

1. Go to Explorer page, Search for Webhooks , You will see Webhooks

2. Click on Webhooks and go to Configuration tab.

Click on New Webhook

Enter the Webhook Name : CallgooseSQIBS


URL :

Payload : Payload by default will be displaying like this

Click on Save

Note:1. How to get endpoint URL 2. Refer this link for How to send to Sqibs API 3. You can create Many Webhook depends up on your Application monitoring preference and send to Callgoose SQIBS.4. You can see the values in the Payload Preview. You can use those values when you create API filter in the Callgoose SQIBS. You can decide on ‘what Datadog payload’ you need notifications in Callgoose SQIBS and depending upon that you can create the API filter values in the Callgoose SQIBS


3. Add Callgoose SQIBS webhook into the Notification Rule

After the Webhook configuration,

Go to Monitors then Settings then Rules

Click on New Rule.

Click on Edit that rule If you have already created Rule.

4. In the New Notification Rule, Click on Notify Click on the drop down and Choose CallgooseSQIBS Save the Notification Rule. It will show you Payload with template values and it's preview.

5. Click on Save.

6. How to test

Go to Monitor then Incident and Click on New Incident to test.

We used the below details to test

Title - WebApp error Severity Level - SEV-1 Incident Commander - Choose the Name in Dropdown Notifications - Choose webhook-CallgooseSQIBS Notes & Links - WebApp errorNotes & Links are optional

Click on Declare Incident


7. You can see that Callgoose SQIBS created the Incident as per the above Datadog Incident

Now whenever an alert notification is triggered in Datadog, an incident will automatically be created in Callgoose SQIBS if the API Filter is success for the payload.
