Create a Request
You can create Requests through SQIBS Dashboard or Self-Service Portal or by using API.
Create using Dashboard
- Select CREATE NEW REQUEST button at the top right of the Requests tab in Dashboard
- You will be redirected to the request add page. Add Title, description(optional), select an urgency, select a service(Optional) and select the Automation Workflow.
- Click the SAVE button.
Create using Self-Service Portal
When you run a Self-Service action from the Self-Service Portal:
- A Request is automatically created to track the action.
- The associated Automation Workflow linked to that action will be executed.
This ensures that every action is properly logged, traceable, and processed through the defined workflow.

Request deduplication and Advanced Alert Noise Suppression
Duplicate alerts or events will be discarded if the source is API. We will discard requests having the same content within the configured time frame. You can modify this time frame to your choice according to your requirements in the Api Token.
