Managing Account Owners and Administrative Access in the Callgoose Buyer Dashboard
Overview
The Callgoose Buyer Dashboard now supports assigning multiple Account Owners to improve account administration, business continuity, and access management.
Account Owners have full administrative privileges and can manage subscriptions, billing, payments, product access, and user administration across the Callgoose platform.
To access these settings, navigate to:
Callgoose Buyer Dashboard (cg-dashboard-payment)→ Access Management
Under Access Management, you will find the following sections:
- Account Owners
- Global Admins
- Billing Administrators
Account Owners
What is an Account Owner?
An Account Owner is a super administrator with the highest level of access within the Callgoose Buyer Dashboard.
Account Owners can:
- Manage subscriptions and plans
- Manage payments and billing information
- View invoices and billing history
- Manage access to Callgoose products
- Invite or remove other Account Owners
- Manage Billing Administrators
- Change the Primary Account Owner
Because Account Owners have full administrative privileges, it is recommended that organizations assign this role only to trusted individuals responsible for account administration.
Inviting an Account Owner
To invite an additional Account Owner:
- Navigate to Access Management → Account Owners.
- Click Invite Account Owner.
- Enter the email address of the user you want to invite.
- Click Send Invitation.
The invited user will receive an email invitation.
Once the user accepts the invitation, they will be added as an Account Owner and will receive full Account Owner privileges.
Primary Account Owner
The Primary Account Owner is typically the user who originally subscribed to the product or created the account.
Organizations can change the Primary Account Owner at any time by selecting another existing Account Owner.
Best Practice
We strongly recommend maintaining at least two Account Owners at all times. This helps prevent administrative lockout if one Account Owner becomes unavailable or leaves the organization.
Managing Account Owners
Within the Account Owners section, you can:
- View all existing Account Owners
- Invite additional Account Owners
- Remove Account Owners
- Change the Primary Account Owner
Global Admins
What are Global Admins?
Global Admins will provide centralized administration capabilities across multiple Callgoose products.
Current Status
The Global Admins feature is currently under development and is not yet available.
This functionality will be introduced in a future release.
Billing Administrators
What is a Billing Administrator?
A Billing Administrator is a user who is responsible for managing billing-related activities without requiring full Account Owner privileges.
Billing Administrators can be assigned to assist with financial and subscription management tasks.
Inviting a Billing Administrator
To invite a Billing Administrator:
- Navigate to Access Management → Billing Administrators.
- Click Invite Billing Administrator.
- Enter the user's email address.
- Send the invitation.
Once the invitation is accepted, the user will be added as a Billing Administrator.
Managing Billing Administrators
Within the Billing Administrators section, you can:
- View existing Billing Administrators
- Invite new Billing Administrators
- Remove Billing Administrators at any time
This allows organizations to delegate billing responsibilities without granting full Account Owner access.
Recommendations
- Maintain at least two Account Owners for business continuity.
- Assign Account Owner privileges only to trusted administrators.
- Use Billing Administrator roles for users who only need access to billing and subscription-related functions.
- Regularly review administrative access and remove users who no longer require access.
